There are many lines of work that require screenshots. Because speed is essential, traditional tools are not the best choice for this task. An excellent alternative is Capturino. You can use it to capture your screen, an active window or a specific region. The software is lightweight and easy to use, so you can get used to its functions in a matter of minutes or less.

The software will be installed in a default folder. After you launch the setup kit, you will have to select a language, click a Next button and Capturino will be installed on your computer in a few seconds. You will have the chance to install an additional toolbar for your web browser, which can be accepted or declined with a single click.

There are a few top menus on the interface, but everything you need is located on its toolbar. You may capture the entire screen or a selection, which can be done with the aid of a rectangle tool. It is possible to capture a window as well. Just click the designated option and the application will take a snapshot of the last active window. The screenshots are listed as thumbnails, on the left edge of your screen, where you can find an option for creating an animated GIF.

If you make a wrong selection, before taking a snapshot, there is no need to delete and create a new one. Instead, you can use a different option to create another screenshot, which will overwrite the previous one. Another useful feature is to capture a refreshed area. For example, if a window made it into your screenshot, you can minimize the window and use an option to capture the same area as before.

Other options allow you to save the current images or all of them, print the screenshots or import them into an image editor. You can specify what editor to use by selecting its .exe file, on Capturino's main settings window. Here you can also set a time interval, in milliseconds, for a periodical capture feature. Like other functions, you just need to click an option on the toolbar and the software will take a snapshot according to your timetable.

Pros

The software provides multiple methods of capturing the screen. Its other functions will perform various actions, which would normally require navigating through multiple options. Although the free version has a few limitations, you can use it for an unlimited period of time.

Cons

The interface will not stay in a single place. Each time you take a snapshot, it will change its position and size. While using Capturino, you will be able to capture your screen, multiple times, in a fast, easy and comfortable manner.
